Our initial impression of the Official NISMO Website was positive in terms of appearance, functionality and content. We found the website intuitive and easy to navigate towards our information needs. All around, it’s a cool website worthy of a visit for any auto enthusiast.

Finding the Official NISMO Website was easy using two different methods. First we simply searched for NIMSO and found Nissan actually utilizing pay-per-click services from Google. We think the lack of an actual website URL might be playing a role here to keep the website shrouded from search engines. Even our links towards the Official NISMO Website that we provide, have a funky string to get right into the website.
Another path into the online realm of NISMO is the home page of the NissanUSA.com website. We think that not having a memorable brand identity such as a domain name is short-sighted in the grand scheme of things.

Our experience navigating the website was simple. While total Flash websites usually have funky navigation controls, we enjoyed this website’s implementation of the tools available and ease of use that followed close behind.
One problem with this website occurred when we hit the back button. We went right back to Google after navigating a number of pages within the website. This occurs from nature of Flash websites being a self contained component. It’s irritating, but could be fixed with proper branding with URLs.
Finding Nissan Dealers with NISMO in my area was easy. Every page had a locate dealer field requesting a zip code. We tested it and found our local dealers with NISMO parts for sale through the dealership and online if they had another website that provided visibility of their catalog online.

While searching for Truck performance parts within the NISMO Website, it became apparent that more parts are needed for Nissan Trucks. The parts showcase provided good coverage of the items available including: MSRP, specifications, part numbers and intended use (street or racing). Low points included the limited selection of Nissan Pathfinder Parts and for trucks built after 2000 and the official NISMO wheels for the trucks lacked flash in terms of design and eye appeal. Good points consited of the chunky section for 2000 - 2004 Nissan Xterra parts and accessories.
